The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader with the vision, enthusiasm, leadership and management skills required to develop a united and committed team that will continue to raise standards at Propps Hall CP School and Failsworth Children’s Centre.

At the heart of our centre are our children. We provide an inclusive, warm, fun and challenging environment in which all our children are encouraged to reach their full potential, through both academic and social development.

We believe the uniqueness of our fully integrated school and children’s centre presents great learning opportunities for all our children from birth to eleven years and some particular challenges for the leadership team. We are currently responsible for 334 children; 165 school aged children, 85 birth to three year olds and an additional 84 children who access our extended school services including some children from a partner school.

We are now looking forward to the appointment of a new Headteacher to lead our centre through its next phase of development. Whilst the requisite qualifications are essential, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate key leadership attributes and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour to enable all our children to reach their highest potential.

The Governing body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and families and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Salary: L15 – L21 £51,710 – £59,910 p.a.
