We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, inspirational and forward thinking professional as Head of School to start work in April 2012, with our Executive Headteacher in the running of this Ofsted Outstanding village primary school.
The successful candidate will have:
- A clear vision for continuous improvement to build on the school’s strengths and successes- Proven leadership, management and communication skills to lead on school improvement within the executive team
- A track record of raising standards and very high expectations of teaching quality
- A dedication to engendering children with a passion for learning
- High expectations and the ability to lead by example to motivate children and staff to achieve their full potential
- The desire to develop the whole child as a person and not just academically
- An understanding of Church Schools and a commitment to fostering the strong links with the Church and local community
- The expertise to sustain our outstanding, open and inclusive ethos
- The skills to continuously develop and implement a lively and exciting environment for learning
- The knowledge and understanding to efficiently and effectively fulfil the role of SENCo
This is a unique opportunity to lead learning in an already very high-performing school. This position would suit an existing Deputy Headteacher looking for career progression with a desire to help to shape the future at an outstanding school.

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week
