Head of Planning & Regeneration
£73,500 – £76,500 per annum
37 hours per week

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council have recently moved to a single management team for the two Councils and are now looking to recruit a Head of Planning & Regeneration to join their Corporate Management Team. The successful person will be lead advisor to the Councils on Planning, Building Control, Economic & Tourism Development, Emergency Planning and Land Charges.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future delivery of these services and applicants will be required to show strong leadership and innovation in their approach to service delivery as well as ensuring effective cross boundary working to meet the needs of both Councils. Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams through major change and ensure their services contribute towards corporate priorities.

Both Councils have town centre regeneration as one of their priorities and need to accommodate significant housing and employment growth as a result of the Regional Spatial Strategy.
