You’ll be responsible for the Borough Council’s development control and building control service, including planning enforcement. In this key position you’ll be expected to lead, co-ordinate and manage our long term strategies and budgets.
Having the relevant skills and experience is essential as you’ll be the principal adviser to the Council, developers, applicants and members of the public on all related matters.
Operating as the interface between the Service and Council Members, Partners and outside parties, you should also have extensive people and communication skills, political awareness, proven corporate management ability and obvious leadership qualities.
