Head of Learning Services – £82k

A little bit of everything…

Calderdale is a place of contrasts, from our open landscapes to our urban communities. This is also true of our learning service, where we have a great deal of diversity. We celebrate this and recognise that everyone is different and everyone matters.

What we want is to help every one of our children and young people to succeed, so we are looking for a new Head of Learning who can help us to renew our focus on educational attainment, improve our safeguarding of children and young people and play a role in achieving our corporate goals.

You will be a strong leader who can work with a wide range of colleagues. Ideally, you will have experience in both primary and secondary settings, have led major change programmes and be able to demonstrate clear improvements in performance. You will know how to engage with senior colleagues and politicians to help them make the changes we need. You will understand the importance that Learning Services plays in achieving Calderdale’s social and economic goals.

Can you make us even more successful than we are now? Are you ready for this challenge? Do you like working with diversity?
