If you are a capable Solicitor or Barrister with an awareness of property and development issues, experience in local government or the public or not-for-profit sector and have been admitted/called at least 5 years, we would like to hear from you.

This post, which becomes available in November, provides an outstanding career development opportunity for a capable and ambitious individual.

Acting as the Deputy Director of Administration & Leisure, you will be responsible for managing the Valuation, Committees and Law Division. You will have direct responsibility for heading up the Council’s legal section.

As a key second tier officer, you will play a proper part in the corporate management of the Council and contribute to working groups and proposals for policy

Informal discussions with potentially suitable candidates will be held during July/August with formal shortlist interviews and assessment centre being held in early September.
