This senior role is a very important ingredient to improving the lives of our citizens. You’ll play a vital role in the internal audit work that is undertaken by the Council with the aim of providing an excellent service to our stakeholders.
Working with the Director of Corporate Governance, you’ll further the Council’s strategic agenda and ensure that appropriate levels of audit and governance advice and support are put in place.
You’ll take care of the statutory internal audit requirements for the council and the implementation of the Council’s policies in line with Corporate plans. Your duties include providing regular reports on the results of Internal Audit work to the Council’s Audit Committee and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
