This transformation is taking place whilst effectively maintaining the on-going delivery of high quality ICT services and digital capabilities enabling us to continue providing excellent services to our Residents. These are exciting times for ICT in Hillingdon and we are looking to fill a number of senior posts that can lead and embed these changes. About the job We are looking for a leader who can implement this new ICT structure,and the ICT architecture behind it; ensure thebest possible ICT skills and competencies mix amongst staff; provide a solidcore structure for the long-term direction of ICT services and support theCouncil’s wider digital and service transformation. The post holder will develop strong relationships and partnerships with the Council's senior managers and provide strategic information, advice and guidance whilst aligning ICT investments and resources with organisation objectives as well as an improved return on investment in ICT and significant savings. About the person Able tooperate at a senior level (SFIA level 7) the ideal person for this role willhave; * Business and Financial acumen * Technical ability with an eye on the ICT horizon * Significant experience in implementing Agile / Scrum methodology * Experience effectively implementing change * Ability to articulate a clear vision of ICT for the Council and build an agile motivated team that have the skills to implement a changed operating model * Ability to operate in a political environment Additional information This post is based on a fixed term contract, initially for two years, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
