The role
In this key role within the Council, you’ll provide clear management and professional leadership to the Council’s Strategic Housing services. You’ll be responsible for improving staff performance, advising on housing matters, monitoring standards, managing budgets and building relationships with key partnership organisations.
Key requirements
You’ll need:
• A relevant professional qualification in housing or a closely related discipline
• Senior level experience within a local authority delivering housing services
• Significant experience of working with internal and external stakeholders
• An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
• A thorough understanding of the strategic approach to housing
