We need to deliver excellent public services within existing resources. With fewer resources, choices are harder. But they still have to be made. This is a challenge that we’re meeting head on. We’ve restructured our management team and created a single improvement programme that will redefine our offer and drive up quality.
We’re looking for a talented, ambitious, resilient and determined Head of Finance to join the new Leadership Team. You will provide lead strategic financial support and have direct management responsibility for the Finance, Audit, Revenues and Benefits, Procurement, ICT and Property functions.
You must have a track record of achievement at a senior management level, and, as the Council’s S151 financial officer, a full CCAB qualification.
