This is an exciting time for Blackpool. We are a good authority with a great deal of physical, economic and social regeneration going on in the town, that will make Blackpool ‘A great place to visit, an even better place to live’. As part of the change and development going on within our organisation, we are looking to appoint a Head of Communications within a new corporate Policy and Communications Department, to help drive forward our ‘One Council’ approach and further improve the services we provide to our residents and visitors.
The head of Communications will lead the development and delivery of a communications strategy for the Council to support the authority in achieving its corporate objectives. To ensure the effective management of the communications function that will assist in the transformation of the Council and Blackpool.
