You will work as part of a small team safely delivering quality Gully Operational Services.
Work will consist of scheduled cleaning of 90,000 highway gullies in the City of Hull, carrying out jetting and minor repairs as appropriate.
You will be required to drive a 17 tonne low volume combination tanker.
You will work 4 out of 6 days on a rota basis, including some Saturdays. You will be expected to work annualised hours which will involve shorter hours in winter months and longer hours in summer.
Out of hours work may be necessary to deliver the Winter Maintenance program and respond to emergencies.
Experience of gully maintenance drainage work and the safe use of combination tankers would be advantageous.
You must be able to work well within a small team, be self motivated and work without supervision.
Candidates will be required to complete routine paperwork and keep various records such as gully cleaning schedules and fault reporting forms.
