Reporting to the Head of Adoption and Fostering, you will have responsibility for managing and developing two Family and Friends Teams (based in two different buildings on either side of the County) who assess and support family and friends foster carers and private foster carers. In addition you will be responsible for undertaking the role of panel advisor to the fostering and family friends panel, along with managing direct spend and staffing budgets which maximises service provision but ensures spend remains within allocated resources. You will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant area, and/or have a recognised social work qualification and registration with the Social Care Council.
