APPLICANTS FOR THIS TRAINING PLACEMENT MUST LIVE WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF PENDLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and creative person with leadership potential to join our Financial Services team on a three-year fixed-term contract to qualify as a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
Training will include exposure to many aspects of the finance function within a number of large, complex organisations, including Pendle Council. We offer a supportive training scheme including day release at university, study leave and the support and mentoring of experienced colleagues.
Possessing excellent IT skills in Excel and Word, applicants must have a 2.2 degree or equivalent in any discipline with a UCAS tariff points score equal to or above 240, along with GCSE Grade A-C in Mathematics and English. You should also have effective interpersonal skills which include excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team.
