We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team on the Fun 4 Life Weight Management Programme.
Fun 4 Life is a weight management programme for overweight and obese young people delivered by Sport and Leisure Development Services with funding from NHS Walsall. It consists of 12 sessions run over 12 weeks offering young people opportunities to take part in physical activity as well as educational sessions designed to improve their knowledge of a healthy lifestyle. The post holder will be required to deliver physical activity sessions that are safe, enjoyable, and inclusive to all regardless of ability. The role also requires assisting other Fun 4 Life staff in the delivery of the educational sessions.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unsupervised with excellent motivational and communication skills. They will have a sound knowledge of child protection and also be confident in working with people of all ages from a range of different backgrounds.
You will have experience working with young people within a health and fitness field.
