CAN YOU LEAD BY EXAMPLE?
KEY Training Services require highly motivated, qualified and experienced individuals to co-ordinate and lead the delivery on its accredited training programmes for 14 to 18 year olds at Entry level and/or Level 1. This first line management role is fast-paced, challenging and rewarding. To step on to KEY’s management ladder you need to be able to:
- Performance manage a team of Foundation learning Tutor(s), Progression and Engagement Officers and Learning Support Assistant(s) to ensure high retention and achievement of accredited qualifications up to level 2,
- Lead the delivery of the accredited programmes by applying a range of effective teaching and learning methodologies,
- Undertake the internal verification/moderation for the some of the accredited programmes,
- Contribute to KEY’s quality and compliance processes
- Demonstrate excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills together with a ‘hands-on’, ‘can-do’ approach and an empathy and genuine desire to develop young people,
- Demonstrate an understanding of Foundation Learning and Functional Skills and have some experience of post-14 training programmes.
