This is an exciting opportunity to join the Events, Theatres and Arts Development team to provide financial administration and general office cover. You will be maintaining accurate financial control systems and local records, liaising with budget managers and other staff, processing invoices for payment and ensuring accurate records are kept in order to provide quarterly and annual statistics and reports, as well as handling and banking petty cash and preparing monthly returns. On occasions you may be required to deputise for the Finance Officer and undertake general administrative duties.
Job share opportunity available
You will be educated to GCSE or NVQ 3 level or equivalent with a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills. Demonstrable understanding of financial processes such as ledgers, spreadsheets and software systems is essential along with a passion for providing excellence in customer service. This is a key support post within the team and therefore you will need to be able to manage your own workload, which could be across more than one site, have excellent Microsoft office skills and the ability to work flexibly within a dynamic team setting.
