Job service/overview

Camden’s Integrated Early Years Service (IEYS) delivers Children’s Centres (CCs) family support, health and outreach services through five multi-agency locality teams.

Children’s centres services are available to all families in Camden with a child under five years of age (including during the ante-natal period). Families with additional needs are offered support by our family support team, who help families to access the help they need.

You will work as part of our CC Locality team, taking a key role in linking with the local Safeguarding and Social Care team to provide support to children under five years of age and their families.

Key responsibilities

You will manage a caseload, carry out home visits and signpost families to services. This will involve assessment of children and family needs using the common assessment framework, assisting families to use local CC services and referral to more specialist services. You will work in partnership with families and other agencies, to ensure effective joint working, improving outcomes for children and their families in line with the Every Child Matters Framework.
