Within Extended Services we have a number of exciting projects involved in working alongside school and other services providing multi agency support to families.
The Family Support Adviser (FSA) will support families to build their resilience and help their children to achieve, be safe, happy and healthy. The FSA will support clusters of schools to develop parenting support. The FSA will work in partnership with families in a school context to enable children, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation. The FSA will work directly with parents in a non-judgemental way, in a parent partnership model, empowering them to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.
Education & Training Requirements:
· A level 3 qualification, for example A-levels, NVQ 3
· A professional qualification relevant to the post or occupationally competent at Level 3.
