Housing in Haringey faces significant challenges and is a high priority for the Council. A strengthened management team is meeting these challenges and following a recent restructuring, major improvements in services, value for money and customer service are being delivered. We have significantly reduced homelessness in the Borough and are well on the way to halving the number of households in temporary accommodation.

We are now seeking to add an exceptional individual to the team, with the vision, experience, skills and tenacity to get things done. Most important is a passion to drive forward improvements in Haringey.

The Events Co-ordinator will develop, co-ordinate and manage a comprehensive programme of high quality learning and consultation events. Reporting to the Housing Strategy and Partnerships Manager, you will be part of a team that develops service user involvement to improve the quality of our services and ensure our strategies and policies meet the demands of Haringey’s diverse population.

To meet the requirements of this post you will need to be experienced in events management, consulting with service users and running focus groups.
