We are looking to recruit an experienced events assistant to our communications team who shares our ambition for the borough and wants to be part of a success story. We need someone who has the necessary skills to help us to deliver a high quality, consistent, boroughwide programme of events before and during Games time.

The Person

Candidates will have a good working knowledge of outdoor community events and will be expected to undertake preparatory work in the office and assist on-site. If successful they will assist with the delivery of an extensive events programme before and during the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games including community fun days and two outdoor live sites in local parks. The post holder will have experience of managing budgets, be able to plan and prioritise their workload and keep accurate records and project plans.
