Teignbridge is in an attractive part of South Devon, and is a high-profile District Council. The Council owns and actively manages a wide ranging property portfolio of assets worth around £40 million
The role is to lead the small team providing advice to the Council on the effective management of its property assets so as to maximise their contribution to its financial resources. It includes advising on alternative uses, acquisitions and disposals, valuations and terms for leases and licences and development advice.
You will have a degree qualified in Building Surveying together with experience as General Practice Surveyor, significant experience of managing a property portfolio, preferably with private and public sector experience. You will also possess the ability to carry out wide range of valuations for commercial and Council assets.
