Teignbridge is in an attractive part of South Devon, and is a high-profile District Council. The Council owns and actively manages a wide ranging property portfolio of assets worth around £40 million.
The role is to lead the small team providing advice to the Council on the effective management of its property assets so as to maximise their contribution to its financial resources. It includes advising on alternative uses, acquisitions and disposals, valuations and terms for leases and licences and development advice.
You will be degree qualified in Building Surveying or a similar RICS accredited course, a Chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS, have significant experience of managing a multi-million pound property portfolio, preferably with private and public sector experience.
