Undertaking the transporting of children for our Department, you will have recent relevant driving experience and hold a full, clean driving licence. You will have to have recent experience of transporting children of different ages, ages range from newborn upwards, and the ability to ensure that they are transported safely.
As you will be meeting members of the general public on a regular basis, good communication skills are essential along with the flexibility of work within the needs of the service.
Working flexibly over a five out of seven working day pattern, involving some Saturday, Sunday, early morning or evening work. You must have your own vehicle for this position. An essential car user and mileage allowance is payable to cover costs incurred.
