Regulatory Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to supervise the staff in the high profile and popular Environmental Regulatory Unit. This is an exciting and challenging role, which is concerned with quality of life issues. The successful candidate will find themselves supervising and promoting a range of enviro-crime solutions such as littering, fly-tipping, fly-posting, dog fouling, abandoned vehicles and the Dog Warden service. We are looking for a committed, innovative and motivated individual, passionate about improving the local environment, to join us. They will help to take the team forward, through rigorous enforcement and awareness-raising, effectively responding to requests from customers and assisting with the driving forward of proactive patrols and campaigns. There is the need to be able to analyse and present information logically, using IT packages, as well as to work under significant pressure, to tight deadlines and targets.
