Improving outcomes for children and young people starts by engaging effectively with parents and carers. It’ll be up to you to help us achieve this. Working with a range of children’s services stakeholders, we’ll be looking to you to identify how we can improve communications with our service users and develop and implement engagement strategies and policies. In addition to this, you’ll play a significant part in a number of equality related projects aimed at hard-to-reach minority and marginalised community groups.
Degree educated, you’ll bring a proven background in promoting and developing participation and engagement and a strong understanding of children’s services functions. This will be supported by the ability to forge close links with people at all levels, from partner organisations to the wider community. Experience of collating and analysing qualitative and quantitative information will also be important.
For an informal discussion please contact Atiya Gourlay or Shaila Sheikh, Quality and Engagement Managers on 07825 452543.
This post if for maternity cover from August 2009 to April 2010.
Please note that there is a pay award pending for April 2009.
