The Environmental Sustainability Officer will be heavily involved in developing the Council’s Climate Change and carbon reduction strategies and programmes.
The postholder must have a sound knowledge of environmental sustainability, particularly carbon reduction programmes. They will also have experience of leading complex projects and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances. They will be skilled at working with a range of partners including residents and third sector organisations and developing innovative ways of encouraging behavioural change.
