Salary – £9,000 plus training allowance and EHRB registration fees

Blaby District Council, Leicestershire, in partnership with the Health Protection Unit, East Midlands South is offering a 1 year ‘Student Training Placement’.

The placement will start in July 2010 and will include the opportunity to spend time with the Health Protection Unit as well as Blaby District Council to assist in fulfilling the requirements of the ELP.

Blaby DC is championing partnership working between Local Authorities and the Health Protection Unit for student training and it is hoped that this will become a blue print for other Local Authorities and HPU Regions.

The placement will include structured training to help students gain experience across all areas of environmental health. Registration with EHRB and other reasonable training expenses will be paid for throughout the placements. For an informal chat please contact Kirsty Winterton on 0116 272 7541.
