We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health officer to work in the Residential Team of our Environmental Health and Building Control Service. Your duties will cover all aspects of the Council’s functions in respect of housing safety, public health and nuisance within the Borough.

You will be enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You will be confident in dealing with the public, carrying out investigations, drafting reports, and have good IT skills. You should be able to work with flexibility and be able to manage your workload to achieve agreed targets. Knowledge and experience in acoustics would be useful.
