We are seeking enthusiastic Environmental Health Officers to join our Health and Housing team. The section in which you will be working is busy and offers the right candidates the type of experience that can only be gained in a vibrant multicultural community such as Tower Hamlets. In order to progress the estimated 1500 licensable Houses in multiple occupation within the Borough we have a proactive and innovative programme to licensing and we are looking for Officers to take this approach forward.
For the Environmental Health Officer posts you will be EHORB registered and have a good knowledge of Housing Legislation relating to private sector enforcement, be HHSRS qualified and have experience of HMO licensing schemes. Good IT skills are required as is the ability to work as part of a team.
