We are looking for an Engineering Assistant to help play an important part in delivering the council’s engineering, environmental renewal and traffic management services.
You will investigate and evaluate issues; arrange and/or undertake surveys, prepare drawings, specifications and schedules, conduct consultation and inspect works on site; all of which will contribute towards the co-ordination, programming and delivery of the council’s capital and revenue works programmes.
You should be an individual who is self motivated, well organised and capable of working to a high standard. An appropriate knowledge and experience in respect of municipal engineering works is desirable; and you must be able to demonstrate a good awareness of health & safety within the working environment.
