CAN YOU PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF FOUNDATION LEARNING TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE NEET GROUP AND SUPPORT THEIR ACHIEVEMENT AND PROGRESION?

KEY Training Services require an Engagement and Progression Officer to engage with and recruit young people in the NEET group to participate in KEY’s Foundation Learning programme; support their learning journey and move them to positive progression pathways of Apprenticeships, FE or employment.

The role is fast-paced, varied and challenging though very rewarding. To join our dedicated team you need to show that you are able to:

- promote KEY’s Foundation Learning provision to young people in the NEET group through a variety of innovative and effective direct and indirect marketing activities across Kent and Medway, including promotional events
- initiate and develop effective working relationships with local employers, providers of further education, agencies and associated business groups using effective negotiating and influencing skills to support learner progression
- regularly review learners, to support retention and progression
- plan and deliver personalised innovative, inspiring and effective employability and job search coaching and training
- provide good organisational and administrative support,
- be empathetic, understanding and committed to young people at this level,
- use your initiative and a ‘can do’ approach,
- be flexible, adaptable and reliable and travel around the county in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day.
