This key post is responsible for the effective management of our enforcement and appeals team. We are looking for a highly organised motivated and ambitious planner with considerable experience in development management and/or enforcement with a relevant town planning or equivalent qualification and preferably membership of the RTPI. You would ideally have:
· Proven ability to manage, motivate, and support staff to meet deadlines
· Excellent communication/presentation and organisational skills
· Negotiation skills
· Ideas to contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Council’s planning service
· Driving licence and access to a car
This is a full time post (36 hours per week), with a benefits package which includes 25-30 days annual leave (depending on length of Local Government Service), final salary pension scheme, flexible working hours and free use of leisure facilities.
