An exciting opportunity has become available in the award winning, Energy & Sustainability Team based at Council House in Doncaster.

The role will allow the post holder to work in a growing industry that will expand their knowledge, challenge them and give them job satisfaction through the resulting impacts on people, housing and the environment.

The Energy & Sustainability Team operates a number of projects that deliver energy savings through home improvements, improvements in health and well-being and safety.

The successful candidate will help develop and manage these projects; they will create new projects by identifying new opportunities, partnership working and attracting funding.

There is a need for the team to develop renewable energy projects, the post holder will lead in this area of work and will need to demonstrate a good understanding of this topic or demonstrate a good history of learning and personal development.

The Energy & Sustainability Team has challenging targets laid down by government. The post holder will help the team manager achieve these targets, including monitoring and reporting.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate any creative talents they have in this role, through the delivery of their projects and the way they are communicated to the public.
