An experienced Energy Management Officer is required to assist the Group Manager in managing the Council’s carbon emissions for submission to the Environment Agency, and to forecast the quantity of Carbon Allowances required by the Council each year. We are seeking a conscientious person with a wide range of practical skills and experience.
You will be responsible for assisting the Group Manager in managing the Council’s carbon emissions for submission to the Environment Agency, and to forecast the quantity of Carbon Allowances required by the Council each year.
Qualification at degree standard with an engineering or scientific qualification, preferably in energy engineering is essential Previous experience of energy management, preferably with some experience in local government is essential.
Interview will be held on 17th November 2011.
