Do you have the motivation and commitment to provide regular support to a team of Enablement Support Workers in the community monitoring the quality of service provided and ensuring they work in a healthy and safe environment.
Main duties: agreeing programmes of support with service users; monitoring the delivery of support; observing working practices; carrying out risk assessments, assisting with NVQ and recording quality assurance visits. You will be trained as a manual handling trainer and will provide training to enablement staff.
You will have experience of care practice, health & safety, ability to give feedback to staff, written/verbal communication skills and sensitivity to service users. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent) or be willing to study for the Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3. You will have previous supervisory experience.
The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
