The Skills for Work Service delivers a range of training and employment programmes to unemployed young people and adults facing barriers engaging in the labour market. An opportunity exists to provide a user-friendly, learner-centred job search service to enable learners to access and sustain suitable employment. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals who are highly motivated in meeting the needs of unemployed people.
You should have:
- A minimum of two years employment delivering training or in a recruitment consultancy role.
- Experience of working with unemployed people and the management of groups.
- Knowledge of local labour market.
- Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (grade C or above) including English Language OR an equivalent relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification.
Experience of working with external agencies and local employers would be desirable.
An enhanced disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau will be undertaken for this post.
