EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
Humber Emergency Planning Service seeks a person with creativity, drive and enthusiasm to manage the team and ensure a comprehensive, effective and efficient contingency planning service is provided to the four councils in the Humber sub-region.
As emergency planning manager, you will work closely with chief officers in the four Humber councils to oversee the research, development and maintenance of their emergency management and business continuity plans.
Duties include ensuring the provision of a comprehensive secretariat to the Local Resilience Forum, liaising closely with our partners within the local emergency planning community and working with the national and regional partners, including industry, on a diverse range of emergency planning related matters.
This is a key post within the Humber emergency planning community that offers an excellent challenge for an experienced emergency planning and business continuity professional with good management skills and a proven track record in the field.
