Full-time post from January 2009
Come and join our exciting and dynamic team of advisory teachers, speech and language therapists and ten other SEN practitioners,working together to deliver programmes of support to children
with complex learning and communication difficulties, mostly on the autistic spectrum, in a range of inclusive settings.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person with NNEB or equivalent qualifications, and significant experience,to join our team.

The emphasis of the post is on supporting children and families in the home and in the full range of early years settings, until they enter school, when you would also be involved in the transition of
the children into reception year, working closely with other colleagues in the team, teachers and support assistants. Experience of working with young children with special educational needs is essential and opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills in working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
will be available. The team is based in a central location in Newham, is well-resourced and offers a clear support and supervision structure for all members.
