This post will work to promote and foster the enjoyment of books, early literacy, library use and family involvement in learning. You will work with parents and colleagues from a range of disciplines in Children’s Centres, Health, Libraries and Information Services, Supported Living and the voluntary sector to bring information and materials to children, parents and their carers in a specified reach area.

Working in a specified area and based in a Community Library you will have the opportunity to develop community contacts and work closely with families to encourage enjoying and sharing books. An ability to understand the benefits of working with different organisations is essential.
