A vacancy has arisen within Medway Leisure for a Duty Manager.
The Facility consists of three pools, a large gym and health suite, a 6-court multi sports hall, shorts bar and café, squash courts and Kicks Soccer Centre. This is a very busy facility with an extensive programme.
Reporting to the Multi Site Manager, you will be part of a team of 3 Duty Manager’s covering the day-to-day operations, staffing, health and safety issues and cleaning regimes.
As the Duty manager you should be able to demonstrate good leadership and motivational skills as well as knowing the importance of organisation and time management. Customer Service is a high priority within the organisation and any complaints are to be dealt with swiftly. Communication skills at all levels both verbally and written form are essential.
We require an enthusiastic, innovative Duty Manager that will bring something fresh to the facility. You should hold a current NPLQ award; a first aid certificate and relevant professional qualification would be an advantage.
