The Point, Eastleigh is one of the south east’s liveliest performing arts venues with a full professional programme of theatre, dance and film. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced theatre professional to join The Point’s arts development team to lead the successful young people’s theatre. This role combines practical, administrative and strategic responsibilities.
This role is a perfect opportunity for an experienced theatre professional to join the team at The Point at an exciting time of expansion and development. November sees the opening of phase3, a landmark new residential creation space.
You will direct and produce performances as well as overseeing a range of residences, projects and workshops. You will also play an important role as part of The Point’s programming team being particularly responsible for leading on children’s theatre, drama education and outreach work.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage a complex workload. They will also be able to think strategically and creatively.
