This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave commencing 30th April 2012 and ending 3rd May 2013 with a possible extension.
The role is to provide administrative support to the Drug Interventions Programme Team in Cambridge, a multi agency team working to support offenders to reduce their offending and drug misuse.
We are looking for a responsible person capable of excellent planning, prioritising their workload and handling confidential information. You must have experience of working in a busy office environment providing administrative services and overseeing the arrangements and organisation of meetings. This will include booking venues, agenda preparation and also the taking and distribution of minutes. You will also take responsibility for dealing with telephone calls and general correspondence from members of the public, outside bodies, police, prisons and clinical staff. Highly effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
You will be well organised flexible, computer literate with reasonable typing speed and familiar with packages such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Experience of working independently and as part of a team is a must.

This post is within a job family. Salary on appointment is £15,039- £16,830. Progression will be based upon assessment of performance in post only.
