This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a time of significant development. We are an arm’s length service providing an impartial advice and support service to parents and carers of disabled children and children with additional needs.
We also work closely with schools, services and agencies to promote parental participation.
We believe that good communication between all those involved in a child’s education is key to good relationships which will help children achieve.
We are looking to recruit a person with exceptional communication skills who is committed to promoting good communication between parents, schools and agencies and increasing parental participation
You will need
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience of developing partnerships with a wide range of people
• Experience of working with parents individually and with parent groups
• Experience of delivery training
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Knowledge of AEN and SEN processes
• Knowledge of parent participation
Supervision will be provided.
