This is your opportunity to become part of an excellent team working within the Development Co-ordination Unit. You will play a key role in ensuring that new housing and regeneration projects within Gloucestershire are built to meet our transport policies and design standards. This includes providing comments on planning applications, negotiating with developers on site layouts, and ensuring that the resulting built environment complies with the County Council requirements by promoting a safe and sustainable transport network.
Highways development control experience and excellent communication skills, together with the ability to solve problems, are required for this post. Ideally you will be qualified to H Tech standard or equivalent with a Civil Engineering background and a minimum of 5 years experience.
