The development of our social care workforce is vital to their effectiveness, and the key feature of this job is to make that happen!

Working closely with our social care managers, you’ll be responsible for identifying the impact of government initiatives and opportunities on the learning needs of people working within both the adult and children/young people’s workforce. Part of the job will be to ensure that the funding available is used wisely and makes a real contribution to the development of these people.

You’ll have the ability to advise managers on the best ways of meeting the learning needs of their staff, facilitating events and commissioning a range of learning and development activities/opportunities. Experience of working in a social care or health environment, plus some knowledge of learning and development would be an advantage.
