As a high performing Local Authority we are constantly improving our services for Children and families within Stockton-on-Tees. As part of the improvement process we have established a team of duty workers to compliment our front of house service. Their role and responsibility is to respond to all Children & Families referrals, completing Initial Assessments and Section 47 Enquiries.

As part of the improvement process we are looking to recruit a we are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Practitioner who is seeking a next steps career move to a Management position. This new post of Deputy Manager will be committed to supporting the Manager and the duty team in providing good outcomes for children and young people. The applicants must already have proven skills and abilities in assessing and managing situations where there could be high levels of risk.
Candidates must have a relevant social work qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing complex work surrounding Child Protection.
