Leadership range- L9 – L13

Salary – £52,720 – £57,445

Following the promotion of the previous post holder to Headship, the pupils, staff and governors are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner as Deputy Headteacher. We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and skilled teacher to help lead our multi-cultural and friendly school.

The successful applicant will have excellent people and management skills, a very good knowledge of the National Curriculum and be able to implement very effective assessment, monitoring and tracking procedures. They will be innovative in their approach and have the skills to inspire and help lead our highly committed team.

In addition the successful applicant will:

• be highly computer literate and expert at handling data

• have a good understanding of inclusion, pastoral care and EMA practice

• have a proven track record as a very good teacher

• have varied and effective leadership experience

• have good management experience

• be willing to further their own continuing professional development

• be prepared to help take Drew towards excellence
