A Day Centre Officer is required to work at the Shepway Resource Centre to assist in providing a service to adults with learning disabilities, continually promoting independence and community presence. Good knowledge of issues relating to learning disabilities including Valuing People Now and Person Centred Planning will be required for this post.
We are looking for someone with experience, who is a good communicator, is flexible and able to work on their own initiative.
The successful candidate for this post will receive an induction and training and will be required to undertake Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ).
