The Physical disability and Sensory Services team are offering a part time permanent post and a part time secondment or temporary post to experienced staff who have the ability to respond sensitively to members of the public seeking help and assistance in meeting their every day needs, often at a time when they are distressed or very vulnerable.

You will be responsible for screening and processing all referrals to the team, booking appointments, sign posting to another agencies, arranging for repair of equipment, cancelling services and providing telephone support and advice, You will also update the Departments database, maintain an electronic appointment system within government deadlines and performance indicators.

The successful candidate will have the ability to co-ordinate and prioritise their own workload and must be a team player with good IT and organisational skills.

This post is subject to police checks. Full training on all aspects of the work will be given.
